Gran Torino
I went to the movies today with Ryan and Colin. That was a pretty good movie. So, go see the movie if you can cuz Clint Eastwood does do a very excellent job.
Ryan leaves on Thursday to go back to Miami. I wish I could go with him cuz we are suppose to have a "high" of 9 degrees on Thursday. He sure will get a big contrast in temps.
So, the big BIG news that I am thinking about right at this moment is that Jaron and Dana are expecting a baby this year, AND so are Carly and Matt. So, doing the math, that means that I will be grandma (nana) to 5 children in total in 2009 (of course counting Jupiter, of course!)
Yup, this will be a pretty huge year in the lives of two of our kids and their mates, which in turn means it will a huge year in ALL of our lives! Like, Carter and Luna will each have a new brother or a sister this year which is very life-altering for them, too. I can't help but think that our family is sure growing by leaps and bounds in 2009, but then I also can't help but think that, sadly, it just sucks that 3 of my grand-children live in different states. Well, that's the way it goes, that's life. I will just do my best to try to get to see them as much as I can. Geez, Colo. is so far away from Mich. Selfishly, I wish they all lived close by.
