Irritating Things

I am taking my inspiration for this particular blog from Sei Shonagon's form of writing.

A man who, despite all his best efforts, cannot get a job.  Ugh, how irritating.  It is beyond his control that jobs do not come to him.  Discrimination, prejudice, and whatever else take their toll on the decisions that are made for him.
The teacher who believes his or her class is the only class.  This is irritating indeed.  The very idea that a person could be taking another 12 hours of classes means absolutely nothing to these rude, demeaning, demanding people.  They want only what they want, how they want it, and when they want it.  No exceptions.
The vacuum that blows little particles everywhere.  After a hard session of cleaning up the apartment, one finds that not only did the vacuum not catch what you intended it to catch, it has indeed blown around a tiny sheet of dust to places that were originally unaffected by the mess.  How irritating that the intent to clean caused a much bigger mess.
The menstrual cycle that won't stay regular if a pregnancy depended on it.  Honestly, how hard can it be to be reliable?  Is it too much to ask that one arrive and depart with at least some regularity?  How disturbing.
The semester that just won't end.  You reach the last 2 weeks of classes when the very thought, sight, and act of doing anything related to school prompts an immediate childish response of tantrum throwing.  Doing anything that can be considered slightly unnecessary is extremely frustrating and demoralizing.

I can't think of anymore.  I will continue this blog.
