Flightplan
This has nothing to do with the movie -- to the contrary, it has to do with Miami.
Ah yes. Eric and I have a plan with my excess check. I assume that I will be getting $3,000 in excess money. Yes, it's a loan, BUT -- I don't have much out in loans anyway, and I don't plan on assuming much more. I need only keep HOPE. =)
Anyway, we're planning on getting a flight, hotel, and rental car combination for $640 approximately. Then, after a few allowances, the rest of the $1,100-$1,600 is ours for the fun of it =). I'm hoping to actually get $3,500. That would be better. If I don't get that extra little bit then I will be forced to find a cheaper combination, which shouldn't be too difficult to find.
But anyway, we've got beaches in mind, nice restaurants every day. Museums, zoos, etc. It's going to be a good time. If anyone has any suggestions about Miami, please, feel free to donate an idea or two. I'm all eyes.
The other option, which may or may not be cheaper, is a cruise. But for some reason, I'm not excited about a cruise. There are too many...I don't know...unknown variables it feels like. But we may do that as well. Either way, we're doing something and it's going to be big. As for the smart things I'm going to do with my money? Pay off my entire credit card bill and put $1,000 into savings. And leaving it there. =)
