A Learning Experience
Not really having a computer of her own, or anything else besides a few school uniforms and a pair of dresses, Katelyn found herself once again in the school's library. She stood quietly off to one side, using one of the school's public computer terminals to check class webpages, online notes, and similar things. It was a process that still took her far longer than it should, but she was a fairly quick learner and was already starting to get the hang of things.
After doing her work, she stopped to check her journal, reading about the many goings on of all her friends. From where she stood, she could look over past the screen at the main entrance of the building. While not too many people were coming and going, she was easily distracted whenever a new person entered. The curious girl wondered about who they might be, the ones that she did not know, what kind of assignments they might be coming there to work on or study over.
After a handful of unknown girls from different years, Katelyn spied a familiar glimpse of pink in the distance. "Utena!", she called out, immediately getting a stern look from the librarian behind the counter. Quickly logging off of her computer, she rushed for the door to greet her friend. "It is, Utena. I have not seen you around, as much. Are you doing well?"
