I left the school, and found music and hot drinks and a store of clothes
I had, a very exciting week this time.
In classes, I learned that Hroo-kah, Teacher of Swords, is not anrgy with me. The other girls teased, but I am not in trouble. Minako the Roommate also teases me, and I threatened to eat Artemis. But Artems Tau is not bad, and he is not a cat. But Katelyn is also not a cat, so I understand. The girls also said Head Mistress wanted to see me, but she was challenged by the new Teacher of Potions and surrendered. Because she gives up, Paige is the new leader of this pack. I do not know if Head Mistress was angry or not, but she it not here any longer. So nobody is displeased with Katelyn. They were all jokes from the week before, another special time that I do not understand.
This week, there were many rains, and Liz Riley let me sleep with her when I was cold. She was very kind to share her room with me and help to keep me warm. And later on, Utena the Prince took me shopping! I went into a town, but I do not know the town's name. But it is close by, because we walked very shortly to it. I have seen towns from the airplane, and from cars when I was taken to the medicine men, and from there to my former tribe. But my old tribe did not allow me to leave their buildings, because the people were afraid because Katelyn was strange and from another land. This was the first time I got to see the town in person.
Here, the Elders allow the girls to leave for town, and there is even a footbridge so that people do not hurt us with the cars. There are stores that serve drinks that make you silly, and others that give you energy. There are musics that come from "headphones", and the headphones play many sounds from many lands. But the best was when Utena took me to buy her Prince clothes, and the Elder there allowed me to try on pretty things. I was, so happy, and could not believe that the girl in the mirror was Katelyn. The girl in the mirror looked pretty, and like a lady. I wish I could be a lady one day, like I remember my mother.
I thought I was only to borrow the pretty dress, because it was meant for another. But the Elder was nice to offer it to me, and because I have nothing to barter in trade, Utena bought it for me as a present. It is so pretty, and soft, and feels so good against my bare skin. And it's the color of the springtime flowers! I wish I could wear it to school, but I have to wear the uniforms. I still think they're cute too, but the Elder did not think so and she is the expert on clothings. But! It was a very exciting trip, and I learned many new things. I had much fun, yes.
But the week is not over yet. Friday I need to go to Archery, and try more free lessons. And there is much work to do for school, and many classes to study.

[OOC2: This entry probably should be backdated, but as it'd likely have been posted kinda-sorta before the whole impropmtu Slayer field trip to Japan (which is still underway itself), we can just assume that most of the folks didn't read this until afterwards, after they came back from the infirmary or overseas or what have you...]
