The door opened to a darkened room. Katelyn walked in first, wearing a little black dress that looked really nice without being too formal and that showed off her curvaceous figure rather well without being obscene. The light was flipped on to the room she and Liz shared. Though the more dominant of the two girls naturally led the way, in a kind

She paused ever so briefly before her words brought back another scene. "And then, when I had that vision...you told me that you'd never leave me. You said that you would stay with me forever." That memory, as frightening as it had been at the time, ended up being a pleasant one due to those kinds words. "I was trapped, in that scene in my mind. But, I was still able to hear you. I heard you telling those things to me."
Still holding Liz, that embrace tightened for a moment as she continued on. "Do you still feel that way? I want to know...do you still want to be together, with me, forever?" Katelyn was pretty sure she knew the answer; she simply wanted to hear those words again from Liz's own lips.

Leaving Liz standing there in the center of their room, Kate silently turned to pull two boxes from beneath their bed, one large and one small. The larger one was wrapped. The smaller one was not. Katelyn held this smaller package in her hands for a moment, her eyes wandering off to find Liz before working their way back to the thin box that she held. The click of her dress shoes on that hard floor was the only sound as she walked back behind the girl she adored.
"I've got a present for you," she softly said before placing another light kiss along that graceful, swan-like neck. Soon after another sensation could be felt...a strange feeling of something being placed along the back of her neck, then being wrapped ever so gently across her throat. The black leather collar snapped closed in front as the silver buckle fastened into place. It was very plain, and thin enough not to feel out of place on the petite brunette. The leather was soft and comfortable, though the collar could certainly be tightened if the need arose. The only real decoration was a silver ring to which a leash could be affixed if one so chose. A sly little smirk appeared on the lips of the Mistress. She turned Liz slightly to face the mirror in their room before allowing her eyes to once again be opened.

She listened to Katelyn's footsteps, following the girl around the room by the sound of those footsteps only. There was a small smile on her face when the footsteps returned to her. A smile that was broadened when she heard what was said next.
Liz would have closed her eyes at the light kiss if they hadn't already been closed. But then a strange feeling along her neck... Liz lifted her head up a little in surprise, and to try to find out what it was. At first she thought it was a necklace, but it was too tight for a necklace. Though not too tight either, it felt comfortable and she experienced no trouble with breathing.
She could not wait until her Mistress gave her permission to open her eyes. What followed once she looked in the mirror was a stunned silence.
"Katelyn..." A hand went up to the collar around her neck. "You got that for me? It's so beautiful..." She smiled at Kate. "Now I am really yours, hm?"

Kate's arms again wrapped themselves possessively around the girl's waist as she gazed over Liz's shoulder to their reflection in the mirror. It pleased her to see that smile on her partner's face, and she watched with satisfaction as a graceful hand touched that new gift that symbolized their relationship. The collar was simple, but there was an elegance in it's simplicity. The leather was of the finest quality, and it's sleek black lines contrasted well with Liz's fair complexion.
"You look beautiful, my a'maelamin." She slipped into the Elven tongue, borrowing a phrase from that language as only the immortal words of the Elves bore enough weight to describe her feelings. Her embrace was tightened into a gentle squeeze. "And I love you so much...I never want to let you go, not now, not ever..."
