It's Springtime!
((OOC: Post set for this week. Not to be confused with the backdated ones we're working on for Laurian's rescue, hence the more cheerful attitude.)) ^_^
The seasons are always changing, with the rainy seasons and the dry seasons, the windy seasons and the seasons for various plants. But the changes in New Hampshire were more drastic than what Katelyn had been used to in climates further south. The white blanket of snow that had covered the school grounds was beginning to retreat, and the green green grasses once again covered the campus. To the young Druid so much a part of the natural world, the change could not have come soon enough. A private ceremony was held under the moonlight on the day when the sun and moon were in perfect harmony, in balance with one another and the rest of the world. But now, the true fun could begin...beautiful spring flowers, butterflies of every kind, endless summer afternoons of lying in the grass and watching the clouds, and random picnic lunches in the garden with the girl she adored.
Today Katelyn found herself in those gardens, thinking to herself what she might like to do this year. Though the school had an official groundskeeper - somewhere - they long ago decided to just let Katelyn do what she pleased, as there really was no point in arguing with someone whom the plants naturally responded to. Clad in a floppy hat to shade her face but a tank top and shorts to fully enjoy the warming weather, Katelyn happily began playing in the fresh soil, enjoying the smell of the freshly turned earth.
