((OOC: Continued from

The two girls left Vanya in peace. The girl needed her rest, and for whatever reason their very presence was upsetting to the girl. Now the couple could only hope that the kitten would touch Vanya's heart in a way that human contact could not, in the way that Liz felt that Vanya needed most. It didn't go as well as Katelyn had hoped, but they had tried their best. And now, now the rest of the day was reserved for just the two of them. Time alone to share with each other.
Once outside Katelyn let go of her date's hand momentarily, and without explanation walked towards a large tree that they both passed under. As Liz stood in the shadows of its branches watching, Kate leaned up against the tree and pressed one hand against its bark almost as if she were holding herself up while winded. There was a moment of silence as she stood there, her eyes closed, but a small, thankful smile soon crossed her face as she whispered Druidic words of appreciation.
That calm expression was shattered as her eyes opened and took in the sight of Liz once more, Katelyn unable to keep from smiling. "Okay, I think everything's ready." She skipped over to her date's side, wrapping one arm around her waist. "But...at first, this might feel a little weird. But I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you." She looked into her partner's eyes, searching for an answer before she did anything that might frighten the one girl she cared most about. "Do you trust me?"
