Clackity Clacking

According to one of the secretaries at work that's what I'm doing whenever she comes into the room to mess with the filing cabinets. I will admit, it's mostly what I do for my job: type code. And research how to type code. And plan how to type code and what layout to type the code in.

Lol, I love it though. The best part is always when I hit a big roadblock and get stuck researching how to get around it for a couple days. It drives me crazy, but when you hit that moment of "AHA!"and make the changes and get it working... It's like figuring out that terrible math problem that had you stumped. (Actually, sometimes that is what it is. Hm.)

For instance, this week has been devoted to figuring out a code library called mxAjax. I had to research prototype.js and a ton of Javascript terms that I hadn't known, in hopes of figuring out how to use said library. I also learned about Firebug, an add on to FireFox 3 that makes me wonder how I ever tried to debug websites without it. Yesterday I finally got an example page working, and today I've been setting up the actual pages to use mxAjax.

Oh yeah! This was pointed out to me via email from mom, I figured I'd put the link up on here because it was really cool and gives an interesting example of how awesome our world is.

Where the hell is Matt?

Oh, and don't forget to click on a link below the video window that says "watch in high quality". It's a lot better that way.
