Life and work : money = good

Job's been going well, when I can make myself go into work, which is most of the time, so there's no worry there. I've picked up a tutoring gig: I'm helping a digital art classmate with his CS 201 class. It's served to remind me how much fun I'm missing, not being in a c++ class. That should change this fall, though. Anyway, I'm going to be paid for it, so that will help.

I'm also taking part in one of the psych experiments today at 6:30. I don't remember exactly what it's for, but I remember it's going to deal with beat and perception. The experiments from this department (which I guess is for sound, music, and rhythm or something like that) all sound really interesting, so I'm hoping to take part in others next week, too. There's also the lovely plus that they pay you. $10 - $15 isn't really that much, but it's something, esp. for an hour to hour and a half.

Oh, I want to schedule a trip home at some point. I want to get a bunch of my books and have them up here for use (like old textbooks). Also, one of the strings on my bowed psaltry broke, and apparently the strings and tuning key are still at home (I think they're in my desk). As much as my siblings will protest, I would also like my Gamecube back. And Wolf's Rain back from Trav. Oh yeah, and I want to nab my incense burner and the longer sticks I might still have sitting in it.
