YAY!!!
I just got the call today that I appear to be a bone marrow donor match! I've been on the Unrelated Bone Marrow Donor registry for about 7 years and it looks like I finally match someone! I am soooooo excited! I am seriously in 7th heaven right now! I have to go through a few more tests to verify the match and get an exam to certify that I am in good enough health to donate, but then, as soon as the patient is ready for it, they will harvest the bone marrow from my hip ...
