Friday I went to Bingo with my Mom, I do this every now and again as a mother-daughter thing. I'm really pretty bad at keeping up with those old ladies. But, I almost won the big jackpot waiting for, guess what number? N-40! Darn, missed it by one number. Sunday was nice, my parents had a party for me, my abdomen still sore from picking up my nephew and nieces constantly. Yesterday, my actual birthday was the best ever. Two fantastic birthdays in a row, that's a record for me, all because I have Chris in my life. It started with morning kisses and an offer to make breakfast, which I turned down, wanted to sleep in. Then lunch with my best friend Denise, that was nice. Then dinner with my sweetheart at Rainforest Cafe (I love that place).I received lots of nice cards and gifts, but none so special as the gift Chris gave me. He gave me a stunning white gold and diamonds (yes, that's plural) necklace to match the beautiful earrings he gave me at xmas. What a planner. I noticed near the clasp is a white gold tag that is inscribed "LOVE" with a diamond in the "O". Chris said it's part of Gordon's Jewelers' "LOVE" collection. I've never had such an extravagant set, definitely not diamonds. It comes with papers of a lifetime warranty and 6 month maintenance checks. How precious. It seems when Chris and I exited the mall after dinner, a bleach blonde woman and her boyfriend past us and her with dagger eyes at my face and neck. I missed it but Chris said it was pretty intense, maybe the light hit the jewelry just right. That's weird who would be jealous of a perfect stranger? I'm sure I didn't know her, we were 40 minutes away from home. 40 isn't so bad. "It's the new 30" and "you don't look 40" is all I keep hearing. I am grateful for my health, dearest friends and family, a fantastic job, and every day I have with Chris. 40 for me is when the fun begins....
