Kind of really pissed

So I am a little irritated right now.

I was supposed to donate blood today at the blood drive hosting by my school today. I sign up to give blood at around 9:15AM.

Well, during my first period we need to watch this movie so we can write an essay on it later this week. This makes me unable to go to the blood drive at 9:15.

So my friends talk me into donating blood at around 12:10 (I believe), so when I go up there I have to wait in a long line so I can get the finger prick to see if I am able to donate.

So about two hours pass and I finally get the finger prick test by this bitchy lady who pretty much says I'm stupid for not hearing her correctly. However, the finger prick thing goes well and I am able to donate blood.

Then I wait in line for another hour. During this line, the blood drive people come over and ask us if we have a ride home from someone else besides the bus. Four of us, including me, say that we do, and as such we are supposed to go before any of the other people (not sure how that works out, but yeah). So the four of us stand up and instead of going in order as to who got there first (I was first in line of the four), the people randomly picked three of us. Well, of course, I don't get picked, so when I turn around to go sit down my spot in line is already taken and I have to go to the back.

I thought "Well, at least they will pick me next since I have a ride." But no. Everyone in the line decides that they will call someone to get a ride and therefore, I am last in line after being second in the overall line. Needless to say, I was a little ticked.

So at around 3:10PM or so, I FINALLY get to the place to give my blood. The lady comes over and tries to find my vein, and of course, says that it is too small and I will be hurt if they take my blood.

WELL FUCKING TELL ME THAT WHEN YOU'RE DOING THE FINGER PRICK, YOU DUMBASSES.

What is funny is that they took plenty of people with small veins earlier in the day - they just got to me at the end of the day and decided that they wouldn't like to bother.

So instead of doing my U.S. History notes (which I needed badly) or doing my presentation in Health I got stuck in this fucking stupid blood drive where they wouldn't even take my blood. Why even bother to attempt to donate blood when I am treated like shit and they don't even care?

Plus I didn't even get a fucking T-shirt even though I not only attempted to donate blood, but I worked the tables at lunch to get people to sign up.

I definitely won't be doing this again at school. It was incredibly disorganized and the people were so rude to me.
