don't drop your balls... you're juggling too many...
Went to UCLA yesterday to follow up with volunteering... 10 hours a week baby! 3 in neurosurgery on Fridays and then 7 in patient discharge! Aaaaand, after 80 hours, I get to work in the ER! I'm so excited to actually be doing something worthwhile. The people there were really nice too! I'm incredibly excited to start, just have to get two TB tests before I start!
Aaaaanyways, LA was fun but it ended all too soon because I didn't get to see Nancy!!! On the bright side, I had lunch with Mootab, Jamie, and Sheniqua, then walked around a bit before going to Sarvy's for her birthday!!!! Gelelelelelelelelelelelelele!!!
Life is good, but I still miss everyone. At first I thought it was Moorpark, and although it may not be the most desirable situation, I have relatively good teachers, I mean, my philosophy teacher is amazing and my other two are really cool too. I think it's more the fact that I'm going to school without walking on the first day and knowing everyone, there's no more comparing schedules with your best friend to see if you got classes together because your best friend most likely won't be there with you. It's weird, and I guess takes a lot more adjusting to than I thought... or maybe I got too attached... either way, with LA things are getting a lot better. Seeing Mahtab and Sarvy and Jamie was really really good for me. I'm glad I'll be over there so much more often.
