I think... I feel better?
The Cold That Would Not Die plagued me all this past week, though on Wednesday and Thursday I swore I was getting better, and then on Friday night I got slammed with bad sinus pain that got worse yesterday, plus the coughing started up again. So I was figuring I'd have another miserable Sunday today and then finally call the doctor tomorrow. But then I woke up this morning and, miraculously, there was no pain, and very little sniffling and coughing; and I've even got some energy back -- enough to make a dent in the laundry and dishes, anyway. So I'm quietly sipping my tea and orange juice and hoping that this damn thing is gone for good this time. (If so, I think I will celebrate by going to see Casino Royale tomorrow evening -- anyone want to join me?)
Anyway, that's why I've been around even less than usual lately. But my semester is over (yay!), and the apartment is on its way to being presentable again, and I've got a Miyazaki movie to watch while I fold laundry tonight, and fresh vegetables in the fridge for dinner. Things are definitely looking up.
