*rubs face* Oh gods, that was too good... You have a wonderful grasp of pathos in this chapter. Beautifully written and damnit I want Jet and Zuko to stay together (and I giggled at Zuko thinking sex was on the agenda for the night and Jet being all "Nope. Dancing and booze.")
Poor Zuko getting the pressure from all sides, even though we all know that Iroh's completely right about Zuko being the only one who can take that role once Ozai's dethroned. And man Jet.. you've come a long way baby, to be able to take Zuko aside and make him realize the way it's gotta be. Way to step up to the plate, my man.
Smellerbee and Longshot. Nothing but love for those two and the way they support their buddy. 'Cause Jet's not just their leader. He's their friend and they watch out for him, and it was really great to see.
You had so many great lines in here I can't list them all... but every time I though I was getting the sniffles under control you just went BANG with another great moment and had me going like a waterworks.
