Omfg. I literally came home from school and sat down on the computer to see if you've updated AND YOU DID. ALDKFJ. I LOOKED AT THE TITLE AND THOUGHT DIRTY THOUGHTS. ..Guh. Okay, real comment now :) You deserve it after all those keyboard smashing comments I've left in the past.

Your Jet is gorgeous. God, he is everything I look for in a Jetko fic. He isn't the crazy charisma guy anymore ;__; Most writers write the part where he finds out about Zuko and is angry for weeks on end, and that's something that makes me drop the story all together. I'm so happy he got over it! (RIDICULOUSLY happy, I'm grinning like a complete idiot :D)

ZUKO ZUKO ZUKO I want to mash his cheeks and drink the juice D: D: Ugh, he is too precious ;__; I am definitely not a fan of a blushing and school-girl Zuko after sexytimes, but you made it adorable and cute and in character. I can honestly say that your characterizations of the Freedom Fighters + Order of the White Lotus + Zuko are one of the best I've come by so far. I have a girl crush on Jin D: I have a crush on Pakku D: D:

I think that each of these chapters are well worth the wait. The story isn't rushed at all, nothing makes me go "huh?" in the middle of a chapter. The plot is amazing. There are so, so, so many "Jet didn't see Iroh bend his tea" Jetko fics out there, but this one stands out by a lot. I love your style of writing, because I actually believe that your characters would act the same way in one of your situations as the real characters would. Each chapter reads like a life lesson (does that make sense?), like forgiveness, the choices in life we all have to make, the hardships people have to go through. Each time you write a character doing something, even if it's just cutting up some vegetables, I can see their facial expression, the emotions on their face, their body movements, everything. And you don't even have to write that part in.

I just. fml. love this story to death, you don't even know to the extent to how much. I hope I've made sense this time LMFAO.

I'm so glad that my take on Jet has been working for you! I feel like it's easy to either defang him entirely or just surrender to his being completely crazy, and I try to find a middle ground -- where he's a damaged, sometimes dangerous man, but is honestly trying to put himself together again.

Hahaha and yeah, I am also not a fan of the more schoolgirl take on Zuko! I try not to get too close to that -- I don't think he's girly, so much as shy and awkward -- so you know, hopefully I managed it okay. ^_^;

Oh man, you've said so many kind things and I don't quite know what to say in return! I'm so very very glad that you're enjoying the story, and that you've taken the time to articulate your thoughts on it this way.
