You Are Alive
Thinking of the future is thinking of what will happen before death.
Or it is thinking of death itself, and that is nothing to think about.
But of course nothing is the same as everything. It is because death really is nothing to think about that it becomes something for which we invent infinite possibilities.
If thinking of the future is thinking of death, then thinking of the past is sleeping while death awaits.
Both the future and the past are death.
Life is the present.
It is in the present that you realize the future and the past are not real. Death is not real. You are alive.
Don't be afraid of death. But don't be in such a hurry to run to it either.
Because death is nothing to think about. Think about life.
