oh!! For some reason I never got into the Dresden Dolls, but I LOOOOOOOOOOVE her solo stuff. She'd probably dig these photos. ;)

I have conflicted feelings about The Dresden Dolls. I like a lot of the songs, but sometimes it just feels like they tried a little too hard... Her solo-songwriting is undeniably gorgeous, though, from what I've heard. Do you know "The Bed Song"? If not, go on youtube! She also just did a cover of Tori's "Me and a Gun" which I am all kinds of conflicted about.

Amendment: Definitely share your conflictedness -- I found her cover on YouTube and don't know how I feel about her performing the song a capella -- seems to close or something. Doesn't help that whoever posted it had in their summary, "I squealed when she started singing this!"
