I spent all of last night and most of today reading. For pleasure. It was probably the most luxurious thing I've done in a while. I finished the seventh Outlander novel, An Echo in the Bone (Diana Gabaldon). It was wonderful but ended with a cliffhanger, and I've actually caught up with the series so now I have to wait for the next book. I highly recommend this series for fans of historical fiction with a side of romance and science fiction...the characters eventually wind up in North Carolina, so that's especially interesting as well!
After finishing that book, I started on Dawn's Early Light by Elswyth Thane. I inherited this series from my grandmother and have been looking forward to reading it. The Williamsburg series is historical fiction that follows three families from the Revolutionary War through World War II. They should provide me with some good reading over the next couple of months!
