I realized something that is very strange about Seattle, but probably applies to most of the US. Nobody has a MEC backpack.
Mountain Equipment Coop is such a staple, at least on the west coast of Kanuckistan I don't think a day has gone by where I haven't seen someone with a MEC jacket or backpack.......
