Disclaimer: As per usual, the good things in life are not mine to have, but belong to someone else... in this case Hasbro, Takara and IDW and anyone else I’ve forgotten…
Authors Notes: I'm mad... I must be mad. This is written for the
houndxmirage Three's a Charm challenge. I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day. Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day? And this does have mod approval :)
Sorry for the delay, didn't have a good weekend for various reasons and creativity fell by the wayside. But thank you to
naggingfishwife and

December 10 - shilly-shally
“Come on Hound, stop shilly-shalling, we have to make the appointment on time!” Mirage commanded imperiously. Hound grunted, weighed down with the stuff Mirage had deemed important.
“Do you really need all this equipment?”
“Of course I do, don’t question what I need!” Hound shook his head, wishing that Mirage had a more practical alt-mode.
“I’m sorry.” Hound murmured. He’d learnt the hard way that Mirage was always right.
“That’s better. Now, hurry up.” Mirage increased his speed, forcing Hound to do the same. Hound added another wish to his list - that Mirage would remember he had a faster alt-mode!
December 11 - comity
Hound was all about Autobot comity. Which was why when he saw Mirage sitting on his own in the rec room, being ignored by the other mechs in there, he shook his head and stood to go over there.
“Hound.” Trailbreaker hissed. “What are you doing?”
“Being friendly.”
“But he’s… he’s not very friendly.”
“Have you ever tried being friendly to him?” Hound asked, quickly crossing the room and sitting at Mirage’s table.
“Hi, I’m Hound.” Mirage glanced up in surprise as Hound sat down.
“Mirage. What are you doing?”
“Being friendly.” He gave Mirage a smile.
“Ah… thank you.”
December 12 - gulosity
“Your gulosity knows no bounds.” Mirage moaned.
“When you’re concerned, it never will.” Hound answered cheekily, leaning down to nuzzle against Mirage’s cheek. “I can’t get enough of you.” Mirage’s reply was a moan. Hound traced his way across Mirage’s plating enjoying every moan he wrung from his lover.
“Besides, I don’t hear you complaining.” Hound murmured smugly, moving back up to kiss Mirage, stopping any retort.
It didn’t take much longer before Mirage was overloading, arching off the berth and crying out Hound’s name. Hound had enough time to watch Mirage overload before he succumbed to his own overload.
December 13 - woolgathering
Mirage watched Hound. Hound watched nature. Mirage snuck up on Hound. Hound watched nature.
“Mirage…” Mirage had gotten within a few feet of Hound before the scout spoke.
“Damn you and your sensors.” Mirage muttered good-naturedly, sitting down next to Hound. “Not interrupting your woolgathering am I?”
“Of course not.” Hound glanced at Mirage, giving him a small smile. “I was just watching the world go by. And thinking.”
“Thinking about anything interesting?”
“You.” Mirage couldn’t help the way his spark swelled at the compliment.
“Oh?”
“After an ego-boost, Mirage?” Hound laughed.
“And if I am?”
“Well, in that case…”
December 14 - bogus
“I don’t believe you!” Mirage snapped, turning his back on Hound.
“What? How was I to know it was a bogus offer? I thought I was doing something good for you, Mirage!”
“Not listening.” Mirage’s tone was harsh.
“Fine then, don’t listen. But I got that for you, Mirage. Because I care about you and wanted to make you happy. I’m sorry I didn’t stop to check how genuine it was, but it was a one-time only deal. And I didn’t want to lose out.” Hound folded his arms over his chestplating, determined to stand his ground against Mirage’s accusation.
