Authors Notes: It’s official - I am mad. Having started the houndxmirage Three's a Charm challenge, flarn_fanfic said how she wished someone was doing something similar for redxinferno. And I’m easily suggestible when it comes to that pairing. So I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day. Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day?

December 04 - scurf
Inferno scratched irritably at his plating.
“Inferno!”
“Ah can’t help it. It itched.” He growled, staring at the scurf of cosmic rust covering his arm and most of his plating.
“Perceptor said the corrostop will work soon, you just have to be patient.” Red Alert said softly, taking hold of Inferno’s hands in an attempt to stop him from scratching.
“You’re going to need a touch up as it is, don’t make me need to give you a full repaint. Else I might just paint you bright pink.”
“Ya wouldn’t…” Inferno looked horrified. Red Alert’s little serene smile didn’t help.
