Summary: Ironhide trains Sunstreaker and Sideswipe
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: As per usual, the good things in life are not mine to have, but belong to someone else... in this case Hasbro, Takara and IDW and anyone else I’ve forgotten…
Authors Notes: For the tf_speedwriting  Wednesday prompt 6 - “You’re going to have to try better than that.”  And that folks, would be all six prompts done within a day… Yay?
Feedback makes friends.  Flames dealt with by the masters of paranoia and fire, Red Alert and Inferno.

“Come on, give me all you’ve got.” Ironhide grinned at Sideswipe, taunting the younger warrior.  Who responded as Ironhide hoped he would, launching himself at Ironhide with a growl.  Only to end up flat on his back on the floor in front of Ironhide.
“Sideswipe!” His brother hissed from the sidelines, watching the training session.
“M’fine…” Sideswipe answered, sounding a little groggy.  He sat up, staring at Ironhide, confused as to how he’d ended up on the floor.
“Moron.” Sunstreaker muttered.  “You let him get the better of you.”
“You rushed in.” Ironhide amended, holding out a hand to help Sideswipe stand.  “Fools rush in and it were easy for me ta stop ya.  Ya don’t look when yer rushin’ in ta fight.” Sideswipe nodded slowly.
“All right.  So I can’t rush you.” He repeated, paraphrasing Ironhide.  Sunstreaker nodded.  They were both learning here; learning new things that would help them in the Autobot ranks.  No longer could they rely on their hit and miss style of street fighting.  Not against the Decepticons.

Another round ended with Sunstreaker one the floor, face pressed against the cold metal while Ironhide’s weight rested on his back.
“You’re going ta have ta try better than that.” Ironhide announced, pulling his foot off Sunstreaker’s back and letting the yellow twin stand up.
“I thought I had you that time.”
“Ya nearly did.  Here’s where ya went wrong…” He demonstrated to Sunstreaker where the younger mech had made his mistakes, helping the both of them improve.  It got out some of their aggression and they learnt in the process.  It was a win-win situation.  Well, except when Ratchet saw the scratches and dents that marred all three of them.
