TF:Random Amusing Find
I swear, when I wrote Search in', I had very little knowledge of much else, aside from G1. Which is why most of my stories are based solely on the cartoons... with slowly more influence from comics etc. coming as I read them.
So, back in 2008, I wrote this little piece:
Hound waited until Tracer transformed, walking around her stationary form before transforming himself.
“Nice alt-mode.”
“I’m getting used to it. The tires are strange.” Tracer replied honestly.
“We’re going to have to set up a club to rival the Datsuns.” Brawn muttered.
“4WD Anonymous?” Hound quipped.
“Get Gears and Trailbreaker involved and we’re there.” Tracer sat quietly in alt-mode, listening to the other two joke around. It wasn’t unusual to have a similar alt-mode to others. In fact, Tracer and Kicker had the same alt-mode, albeit with a large size difference, but the basic structure had been the same. Brawn wasn’t that much taller than her, an inch or so if she was lucky, so she figured if she had any problems adjusting to her alt-mode, Brawn would be the ‘bot to go to for help.
Then, while wiki-hopping yesterday (I was trying to find out more about what's happened in the latest comics), I come across this gem: The 4-Wheel-Drive Brigade. Never seen the series, so had no knowledge of this... just shows how the same ideas can come from different people/writers. Not that we didn't already know that, I'm just stupidly delighted by the fact I independently came up with something that is 'canon'. Though mine don't exactly combine for something which seems akin to the Care Bear Stare... (though Tracer and Trailbreaker combine...)
