Weather permitting, Ann and I will be heading to Lauritzen Gardens after work:
Tempo of Twilight Members' Reception 50s Night
Tuesday, June 24 5 to 8 p.m.
Tempo of Twilight is open to everyone, but a special members-only reception will be held in the visitor and education center great hall on Tuesday, June 24. Complimentary Coke floats and lemonade will be available starting at 5 p.m. Food will be available for purchase, however, you may also bring your own choice of drink and picnic dinner.
At 5:30 p.m., hear Executive Director Spencer Crews present information on garden growth and upcoming garden projects.
Following the lecture, enjoy an evening "Tempo of Twilight" concert enhanced by the beauty of the garden from 6 to 8 p.m featuring 50s music performed by "Geezer." The performance will be held in the festival garden, weather permitting.
Given the rainstorm this morning, so far it's not looking so good.
