It only took 3 days to complete our jigsaw puzzle. It was cute how excited Greg was, getting up at random moments to examine the finished product. We hope to frame the 1' x 3' panorama and hang it on the yet one bare wall of my living room. The first was so much fun, next up I’m hoping to score this:
You may scoff but it’s a great indoor activity for as cold as it’s been. In addition to the puzzle, we also hit the gym a couple times, cooked, ran errands and watched tv. Nothing out of the ordinary but somehow we really seemed connected this weekend. And that makes me feel secure, loved and happy. Every day we come to know and understand each other just a little bit more. And our ongoing major lifestyle changes haven’t hurt any either.
Tomorrow I have MLK Jr. Day off, the first in my 7 years at the college. Our most recent president implemented the change in her very short tenure though rumor has that it will be revoked by next year so I may as well enjoy it. I’m hoping to meet Greg and his co-workers for lunch, hit the gym and a few shops I’ve been curious about. Though it’s the worst time of year, the dead of winter, I’m feeling optimistic.
