first CD purchases of 2008

I shouldn't be in the market for new music with so much to listen to already but having just paid off the rather hefty credit card bill (car insurance, Springsteen tickets and xmas expenses - oh my!), I thought I'd treat myself to two artists I really like whose back catalog I wanted to explore more.





The title of the latter seems significant and appropriate right now. She also has a new album coming out in a couple weeks. Can't wait!
