slated for succuss

Yesterday, after finding a fourth tick on Greta within two days (including a really disgusting one on her tummy as big as a lima bean), we decided that a bath out on the side yard couldn't wait anymore even though it was brisk out and that was about the last thing I wanted to be doing right after work. Hopefully a dose of Frontline and a dusting of some toxic chemicals in the backyard will keep that problem in check. Because those little bastards really suck. You saw that coming, didn't you?

I had planned to have the paper for Pasco's class due a week from tomorrow done at the end of March. If you're not laughing, you should be. For whatever reason, I've had a serious mental block regarding that one but with one to three pages double spaced to go, I just want to finish it and not have to think too much about it anymore so I can focus on Budd's final project. I received 29/30 on my last assignment from him, he the self-proclaimed toughest grader this side of the Mississippi, so that gave me a boost of confidence. Whee!

Tonight I'll be watching Survivor while waiting for Gary, the Schwan's man, to pull up in his big yellow truck bearing my French bread, vegetable egg rolls, and chicken quesadillas. Thursdays are good.
