Another snow day today - there's about a foot outside and it's still coming down. This is exactly what I've wanted since school got out, just to be able to putter around the house in my pajamas with hardly a care in the world. Better yet to be getting paid for it without having to use vacation time. I did some light cleaning, made Irish soda bread, watched a few episodes each of Red Dwarf and Seinfeld and read. A lot. It's true - The Da Vinci Code really is hard to put down. Is it too much to hope for another day off tomorrow?
I went out once to chase the dogs around the yard in lieu of a walk and caught a guilty looking Greta rooting around with a snow-covered muzzle. Turns out she was eating a pile of her own shit. No wonder her breath stinks. She is so not allowed to lick my face ever again. It's not like they don't get fed regularly but I guess dogs will be dogs.
