Well, I feel accomplished. Over the past few weeks, we have visited Grandaddy twice, attended Ashley's graduation, and visited Jason's parents. And I just finished cleaning house in preperation for Mom and Dad's visit--they're coming tomorrow to spend a long weekend with us. Then I think we'll be slowing down for a few weeks until Kevin and Gwen (the bestest relatives I have) visit TN in June and we'll be driving up to meet them there.

While we were in MS last weekend, Grandaddy wanted usto count out all the change in his change buckets so he would know how much he had. We counted over $2000 in change. Yes, that's correct. And that doesn't even count the $1200 he had in $1 bills. It took us *hours* and we finished just before we needed to eat lunch and get ready to head back home. Shows you how easy it really is to save, and how what we think is so little can really add up!

We've seen Spider Man 3 twice now--once at Rave (in digital) and once in IMAX. I'm glad we saw it in the regular theater first, because I missed a lot watching it in IMAX. You can't concentrate on the entire screen and so you have to just pick and choose what past of the scene you're going to watch. Still, very fun to see it on the (really) big screen. Harry Potter will be in IMAX in Birmingham in July, and I think we'll be going there to see it then. Overall, I liked this last one, but the pacing was so off. Sometimes, I was sitting there thinking about bad a part of the movie was lagging, and other times it seemed like it was moving at the perfect speed. However, this one had the best fight scenes by far. But now that I've seen it twice, I think that's all I'll be seeing until we buy it on dvd.
