Christmas carnage
Ah, the after christmas bliss. We're done with presents; we're surrounded by shards of paper; we got some flashlights (one for car, one for 'partment), some new flameless lights for our sconces, I got a Skillet tee-shirt and a national guard one from Bran. Keepy and I got dishes from the folks; Keepy bought me a lovely little wooden caimen that's reticulated. Bran made Keepy an awesome dragon with horde and made me a pretty little dragon rune with a metal hook for a necklace. I got an ankle bracelet. There are also mints and incense. The rents and I gave Keepy her MP3 player, and I think she LOVES it. Bran is psyched about the Welsh cd I got her, and she loved the Wicked bag. Mom got her book and was happy. Dad almost cried when he opened the Peter Yarrow book I got him that's autographed (it has Puff in it and on the accompanying CD). He also got a coffee press. We'd bought the family the first season of Highlander and The A-Team. We also gave Mom the WOW the 90's cd with "Give me your eyes" which she really loves.
In fact, we're listening to Welsh music right now. It's lovely. But it is 2 am and so I won't be uploading ALLLLLLL the pictures we/I took. Look forward to them.

On surveying the christmas paper carnage on the floor:
Bran: "We were really disorganized this year. Did anyone notice?"
Wilde: "You mean getting the tree last night didn't tip you off to that?"
Keepy: "You mean decorating just in time to open presents didn't tip you off to that?"
And lastly, for the evil-sister-gift of the night, I wrapped Bran's Welsh CD inside a Hot Topic bag, wrapped that, put it in another Hot Topic bag, put that bag in a penguin christmas bag, put that bag in the big Wicked tote, put the tote in a box, then wrapped the box and wrote this label on the wrapped box:
SIDE 1: You lucky kid - you're the recipient of this year's Christmas-in-a-box. We here at Celebration-in-a-box hope you "like" it!.
SIDE 2: Bran, see other side. Love, Wilde.
SIDE 3: (where the wrapping paper was upside down) Upside down penguins mean the box ain't facin' like it should. Turn it around and open it!
