Finished getting caught up on Private Practice and while I commend the authors for not giving into the soap operic need to make everything overly dramatic, I found myself unable to give a real damn about any of the problems facing each of the characters in the show. I got all caught up on PP this weekend. I was just blown away by the over-reaction Nay had to her daughter. Are you serious? I thought at least the father was acting like a normal human being but then he pulled the same crap. Way to go guys. When parenting gets hard, dump the kid on the other parent and threaten the child's life. That part of the story line really made me sick. I usually like these two main characters!

I usually like Addison a lot, but she acted ridculously melodramatic about her mother.

Charlotte's line was one of the best ones in the series, period. I loved it. It's too bad it was in relation to Coop acting like a big damn baby. I understand feeling upset, but they are grown people. They can't honestly know everything about each other already, and I think I would respect a partner's wish to keep some traumatic events private. There are big deals in my life that will be very hard for me to talk about with a partner. It'll take time, and I expect compassion. Big baby.

Violet is absolutely the worst. Her storyline is so far from reality, and now it's infected everyone else.

Why do we still watch this? I am not loving this season at all!
