So right now I'm sitting in a hotel room in Shanghai. My parents flew in today to visit and I'm here picking them up. They're asleep now because they're jetlagged. We're about to start our small tour of China, and they're going to be pretty high maintenance because I bet they will be experiencing some culture shock.
But, on the way to the airport I took a Maglev train, and that was quite the experience. The thing goes 30km in just 8 minutes with a high speed of 420km/h. That's about 260mph. IMPRESSIVE!
