I've been tempted to start recording some of my cooking adventures, most of which come out well, but on occasion I still manage an impressive flop. Here are the adventures from this week:
This weeks adventure was inspired by the fruit selection at the farmer's market...
A blueberry-peach (the small "jupiter" or "donut" peaches) galette. The crust came from
Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone, although I think of over mixed it, as it wasn't as flakey as I had hoped.
On Monday the left over blueberries were combined with lots of butter to turn into a topping for French Toast made from
New System Bakery cinnamon bread. Mmm.
