Today I had my first cup of coffee. That’s how desperate I was. It was Belgium Hazelnut (thick and creamy). I’m addicted already.
I’m slowing assimilating into the hipster pop culture. This is why I need to come home for a weekend: before I start believing leggings are pants.
Last night I had a dream in which I was cleaning the bathroom. It wasn’t a nightmare. I just imaged what it would be like and was disappointed when I woke up and found out it was just a dream (I have to clean the bathroom tomorrow).
Today I was at Warren Weaver Hall and I had to pee. I had to pee for about 4 hours. I went into Kimmel and rode the elevator to the 3rd floor just to pee. I found this amusing. I should have peed earlier but it was funny because I picked Kimmel since it had the fastest elevators. The wait to get an elevator up to my room to pee would have been as long as the walk to my dorm.
Sometimes I sit in the bathroom in my room longer than necessary just to listen to the conversations in the room above us. There seems to always be a party going on.

This is from Sean’s profile. It just amuses me:
our rebelliousness took hold every half time and we let out a blaze of electric fury on the unsuspecting elderly, women, and yes, children too. the sounds would fill the gym in a deafening, yet tasteful roar. we were in a state of bliss, innocence, and rudeness that no other pep band could match. life with the pep band was like a never ending rock-comedy show. our mismatched family held tight through injuries, drug abuse, and even pregnancy. sure we could be considered the house band for the basketball teams, but we were the true main attraction and one that could rock your socks off and melt your face, but leave you begging for more. our spirits were high, and our egos big. we were the true kings of the right back corner of the gym, and we let everybody know it. from the roar of rocky to the triumph of d song, we never stopped.

I’ve been getting nostalgia trips. Today I said “whaaaaaat” without thinking and had a flashback to high school. I got another when watching Deal or No Deal (I used to watch it every Thursday when I got home from dance school). I got one in French class when we were asking “what is your favorite restaurant”. I got one at the Alliance Francaise but I can’t remember why.

But I’m excited….I bought my ticket to go home during Columbus Day weekend. I was going to take a 6:55 train from Penn Station to Springfield but I was sad that I was going to be getting back so late. Instead I was going to take two trains: and early afternoon to New Haven, sit for a few hours, and another to Springfield. My parents said they would pick me up in New Haven and so I don’t need to wait. I’m taking a 1:00 that Friday so I’ll be home for the game that night!!! I can’t wait.
