Dear Super Awesome Yuletide Writer Person...
Sorry about the mess. I don't really pick up after myself on this page. It's pretty much the place where I come to dump things when I'm feeling lazy and want to use a fake cut on a comm. I'm stoked that you're here though. I am 90% confident you'll make me something wonderful So let's get right to it....
0. some overall stuff: I'm not too picky. My turn-offs are pretty common. I don't like watersports or scat. I don't like m-preg or anthro or fetishistic focus on a particular body part. I don't like a ton of exposition or characters stuck in their own heads for an entire fic; ie. poorly written character studies, I guess.
I do like plot in my porn. I like bondage and I like gentle and sweet sex. I like non-con, dub-con, and sex that's completely consensual. I like erotic asphyxiation and I like scars and imperfections and sometimes I even like tentacles. :D *cough* I like good dialogue and action. I like creepy things. I like some angst in my humor and some humor in my angst. And I like you!
See how I tried to make you feel good about yourself at the end there?
1. Dark City
I had never actually watched Dark City until earlier this year. As a kid, the trailers made me nervous. I'd had a bad experience with Hellraiser at a a tender age... I woke up to it alone and on a sofa in a reputably haunted theatre in the middle of the night on Halloween after having been forgotten by partying adults... After that, I was convinced that Dark City was where Cenobites lived when they weren't out hunting for human pelts.
And while Cenobitropolis might have been an awesome movie, Dark City actually kicked a surprising amount of ass. I've never been more attracted to Kiefer Sutherland. In fact, I was so enamored with Dr. Schreber that I completed a quick fanvid that very night.... Not that I don't have a life or anything... Because I do. Really.
TL;DR, here are some scenarios that would please me:
A Stranger on Schreber gangbang
I'm not even going to pretend that I wasn't turned on by the Schreber-abuse. Some pre-fruition of Xanatos gambit whatever-con would really fucking do it for me. I don't really care how you pull it off. I would like Mr. Hand to be there because, yum, Richard O'Brian. It can be straight-up angst or you could flash forward and give it a happy ending or you could work it into some bad memories/fluffy h/c sort of plot. Up to you.
But, if gangbangs squick you, something a bit more tame with Mr. Hand or Murdoch (or both) would also be acceptable. I would like it to have more substance than just sexy times though. In fact, if it's between plot and sexy times - I would prefer plot. And, if it's not clear already, I'd like Schreber to be part of one of those pairings.
And, finally, if you're not feeling either of those prompts, genfic with Schreber or Mr. Hand or both is also cool.
2. Gargoyles
My OT3 (4?) is Xanatos/Fox/Owen .../Puck. Working that into a fic would be all kinds of super mega awesome. Doubly so if's not just porn. They seem like the sort of people that could totally make this work like a family. In my head!canon they certainly have.
Xanatos/Owen would also be great. There's not nearly enough of it in the world. I would especially love Xanatos taking a moment to appreciate everything Owen/Puck's done for him. The dude is so under-appreciated.
3. South Park
I've wanted a good Cartman/Butters fic for a long time.They absolutely MUST be older. 16 or so is fine for something cute and sweet. If smut is involved, I really won't feel comfortable reading it unless they're, at least, 18. I've been watching South Park since I was in elementary school, I have no problems picturing the gang older but... yeah... still totally squicked by underage stuff.
In regard to smut, I'd be wickedly amused if Cartman made Butters dress up as Marjorine to make the experience "less gay".
I could also go for a romance if you could make it work. I won't lie though, I'd still get a kick out of Butters being forced to dress as a girl. I miss Marjorine.
A friendship fic is also perfectly acceptable. I use the word "friendship" loosely but... something like that...
And just because I'm looking for something cute, that doesn't mean I want either character OOC. I fully expect Cartman to be a manipulative dick and for Butters to maybe decide not to put up with his crap... but ultimately get convinced into doing it, because he's Butters. Also, I would love for Butters to be in tears at some point if that's feasible. I cannot express to you how much joy crying Butters brings to me. It's the most adorable fucking thing in the goddamn world.
But, yes, in any of those scenarios: happy ending, in character, Butters in tears at some point, adorable in a "We shall speak of this to no one." kind of way.
4. Alan Wake
Alan/Barry. I can't find a good fic of it anywhere and it's driving me insane. I don't care if it's one-sided. I'd certainly prefer a more emotional fic as I don't... particularly want to... picture any of this in terms of PWP... Barry is just so obviously obsessed with Alan.
I wouldn't mind something pre-game. Something that explains away some of the animosity between Barry and Alice. Something creepy and post-game would be great too. Mixing a bit of both would be equally epic.
If slashing these two is going to mentally scar you, I wouldn't be apposed to friendship and gen. Preferably with lots of action and drama and creepy stuff and maybe some angst.
So, there we have it. Hope there's something in there somewhere that someone won't horribly mind writing. I shall treasure whatever you make me as a child from a broken home treasures a court-ordered birthday card.
