The Worms Crawl In - The Worms Crawl Out
Do you ever think when a hearse rolls by,
that you may be the next to die?
They take you out to the family plot,
where you will wither, decay, and rot.
They wrap you up in a nice clean sheet,
And lay you down about six feet deep.
And all goes well for about a week,
but then your coffin begins to leak...
The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out,
the worms play pinochle on your snout!
One of the worms that's not so shy,
Crawls in one ear and out one eye.
They call their friends and their friends' friends, too,
They'll make a horrid mess of you!
They slime your skin as they crawl about
and turn your guts into sauerkraut.
Your ears fall off, your teeth fall out,
you're falling apart, there is no doubt
They eat your eyes, consume your nose,
and nibble the jelly between your toes.
Then your blood turns a putrid green,
and oozes out like whipping cream.
There isn't much the worms can't abide
and they're quite happy that you have died
They gnaw through the last of what was your head
and that's what happens when you are dead
So never laugh when a hearse goes by,
for you may be the next to die.
