Ugh
So yesterday was the day from hell... and I never made it to Chico. :(
After a promising start, the afternooon completely fell apart. After a simple errand turned into a multi-hour ordeal with frantic phone calls, tow-trucks, sitting out in the heat, and trying to pacify a terrified B.K., I was left drained of any energy whatsoever. Then the side effects from my patch kicked in, leaving me not only drained and headache-y, but nauseous to boot. I wasn't up to driving to the grocery store two blocks away, let alone 4 1/2 hours roundtrip to Chico.
So at 6:30, when I had planned to leave for Chico, I was sound asleep instead.
Today should be better, but that doesn't mean it won't be jam-packed, as I'd had errands for yesterday that were never done because of the drama.
