Glee 2.09 Review
What an episode! I think Glee is getting back on track =).
- I was absolutely SHOCKED, jaw dropped, mouth wide-open, at Emma and Karl getting married. SNAP. I was disappointed with Emma's "I think I made a mistake" look during the coda... because up until this point she looked genuinely in-love with Karl. Besides, I think that Will and Emma's relationship is an unhealthy one and that they bring out the worst in each other. While Karl is "making her better". I know that by the end of the series Emma and Will will be together. Though I really wish they won't.
- The Warblers were so kickass. I love their accapella style! Though Kurt looked SO awkward among them.
- I actually liked the "New Directions" drama. lol.
- I was glad that at the end it turned out that Mike and Brittany weren't cheating on Artie and Tina... because I love Tina and Mike! And Brittany and Arite definitely have their moments.
- Rachel cheating on Finn was... I don't even know. Maybe half the world thinks it was OOC of her, but to me Rachel is a girl that goes to extremes without thinking things through. I don't think she was going to SLEEP with Puck... but the making out I definitely could see her doing. And let's not even mention how insecure Rachel is in this relationship with Finn... poor Finn though! Losing both girls to his former best friend.
- hahahahhaa... Rachel calling Sam and Quinn "Barbie and Ken". lol. And I have to mention the irony of Sam/Quinn singing the duet because they won the duet competition. They only won that competition between Rachel and Finn voted for them =P.
- Emma saying those things at the begining of the episode about the Glee kids made me smile. I'm glad that other characters got some focus this episode, and had their opportunity to shine. I especially loved her mention of Quinn's beautiful voice =).
- Harry and Heather were absolutely phenomenal! And Naya NAILED IT. I was so glad to see the "underdogs" performing.
- Dianna sounded SO great during "The Time of My Life"... Chord was okay, but could've been better.
- hahahah Puck! "Only being nice to Jews". He kills me. And I loved that he was saying "Allah! SATAN! HELP ME!" lol. Dude turns to whoever when in a desperate situation =P.
- Puck being the "bad-assedor"... LOL
- Twilight-Girl being on the Glee club... ugh. Why put someone on the team if they think "Show choir is stupid". It's mind-boggeling!
- Sam/Quinn are adorable still.
- I was happy Mr. Schuester yelled at the kids for being selfish brats. They definitely deserved it.
