. Velius walked to the side of the two Bikers and held up his hand, the two of them looked at it for what seemed like an age revving their bikes, Xen pressed a button on her armour and a timer began to count down as two hatches on the back of her armour began to slowly slide open, suddenly Velius dropped his hand and they released their brakes went into gear and sped off out of the alley into the main street of the city rapidly accelerating until they became no more than a blur to passers by.
Timon hazarded a look to his left to make sure he had the lead and gasped as Xen who had been up until then only just keeping up with him, speed by with only a slight movement of her throttle, Timon pressed a few buttons on his dash and sped up so quickly that if it hadn’t been for his armour he would surely have broken his neck, as it was he was sure to have minor whiplash, he caught up with Xen and sped past quickly enjoying the vision he had of the surprised look on her face as he easily overtook her "Money well spent" he thought to himself as he changed to a higher gear "and I haven’t even opened her up fully yet"
Xen cursed as Timon sped by her "hmm Its time for plan B" she pressed the button which had started the timer, suddenly the time sped till it reached zero and the hatches opened fully and her wings sprang out, she forced them back then spread them fully, her bike lurched forward and she caught up to Timon "Shit I'm only just keeping up" she pressed another button "Cyber Units apprehend" she said into a communication device built into her helmet, she waited for the electronic reply that would let her know that her Cyber units were approaching
"Sorry they're not coming out to play today Xen" said a voice
"Ruin?"
"The one and only Xen, lets keep it fair"
"I'll get you for this you bitch"
"language Xen, I'll be coming for you soon" The com was suddenly filled with static and Xen turned it off and roared.
Timon was just about to turn the corner that led to the finish line when he was thrown from his bike by a massive explosion .
WildCat's eyes snapped open at the rumble of the explosion, He jumped off of the bed, and ran towards the door only to be stopped by DW.
"Move Wolf!" DW just stood there with his arms folded and shook his head "I wont ask again" said WildCat, DW remained motionless up to the point where WildCat narrowed his eyes and his hand moving with eye blurring speed pulled a short throwing knife from his Jeans pocket and threw it, pinning DW to the door by his coat. DW gave a low warning growl as WildCat pulled out another knife "Shut up wolf, or next time I wont be aiming for your coat" WildCat seemed to soften slightly "I cant explain it right now, but I need to go, I will reimburse you for the coat" with that he opened the door with DW still attached and ran off into the darkness
"Shit" thought DW "Velius is gonna kill me"
Timon opened his eyes and growled in pain, only managing to suppress a howl, suddenly a clawed hand Grabbed him by the hair and pulled him upright causing every muscle in his body to scream in protest, it was all he could do not to lose consciousness, through the tears he could make out a dark red figure with glowing red eyes
"Well Timon, it looks like we both lost the race but that’s all 'I' have lost" Timon tried to speak but he could only utter a rather weak sounding growl, Xen laughed, but it sounded to Timon like a finger being run around the edge of a glass "What’s the matter Timon, in pain?" she laughed again and dropped him "Who the fuck are you?" she said looking over Timon
"Wouldn’t you like to know" said the newcomer, she was dressed almost completely in white bike leathers with her face and extremities hidden,
Xen sniffed the air "You smell like one of this pathetic creatures kind but.... there’s something else" The newcomer laughed
"lets just say I'm self made" Xen Kicked Timon who lapsed into unconsciousness again and leapt at the newcomer who with apparent ease stepped to the side causing Xen to almost nosedive straight into the tarmac
"You'll pay for that" Xen pressed a button on her armour which retracted and detached from her body. her wings spread out and she roared "Unfortunately I need you creatures alive but I'm sure this time I could make an exception" The new comer tilted her head and appeared to be thinking, suddenly she turned on her heel and disappeared down an alley-way "Coward" shouted Xen after her. Xen turned to vent her anger on Timon's unconscious body but when she looked it was gone, Xen jumped into the air spread her wings and roared, the windows on the buildings around her rattled with the sheer intensity of her rage, she allowed her wings to flap once, twice before rising so quickly that anyone who would have been watching would only have seen what seemed to be a streak of red lightning.
From the shadows a lone figure who had been watching stepped out took a quick look at her surroundings mewled softly and stepped back to where she had hidden Timon, if she had the ability to speak she would have said something reassuring to him but because of a malfunction when she was being transformed, her vocal chords were more house cat than human so she purred softly to him hoping it was enough.
WildCat was cursing himself as he made his way back to the club, how could he have been so stupid, he almost lost it for a while, if he had there would be no telling how many innocents would have been slaughtered and if that wolf morph who called himself Velius hadn't been there then he would surely have fused with his sword again while blood still covered it causing.... No he couldn’t even think of 'that' ever happening again, not after last time, not after that village.
a single tear rolled down his cheek, he quickly brushed it away shook his head and finally approached the alleyway that was the entrance to the club. He walked to the door and quickly jumped back as the door was smashed off of its hinges and Kraken was thrown on top of it, Kraken looked up at WildCat and stood up unsteadily, WildCat took one look at the blood on Kraken and started to make his way in, his teeth bared, Kraken grabbed him by the shoulder "No WildCat" he said trying to smile "Its Andy"
"Andy? What happened who did this? Have they hurt the boy?"
Kraken laughed then choked as his he clutched at his side "I doubt anyone could hurt Andy at the moment" he held out his wrists and showed what appeared to be burn marks "He did this with his tails"
"Tails? what do you mean and what’s happened to him?"
"you better go in and see for yourself, we've been trying to bring him down for ages now"
WildCat walked through the door and gasped at what he saw, there was a very large fox morph standing in the middle of all the wreckage laughing insanely "Who are you Fox? and what have you done to Andy?"
The large Fox turned its head towards him "Ahh WildCat, how about that fight you promised me?"
"Andy? But how?"
"Ruin was here, she injected him with something, I don’t know how long its gonna last but we need to restrain him" WildCat turned to see Kyth slowly standing up "its not been very successful so far"
WildCat nodded "I can see that" Andy was watching Kyth now and WildCat took the opportunity to grab his arms and pin them behind his back, Andy grinned "You forgot about my tail" WildCat looked wide eyed as Andy's tail split into two and grabbed WildCat’s wrists and squeezing tightly to make him let go. WildCat screamed in pain as he felt some sort of liquid seep from Andy's tail and slowly eat into his flesh, he pulled away as Andy released him, the burning sensation passing and looked at his hands, but there was no visible mark.
All of a sudden Andy started to cough violently and his eyes rolled up into their sockets and he collapsed, shaking, his body slowly returning to its normal size but his tail remaining in its split state. WildCat stood up and cautiously made his way toward the fallen fox, Kyth managed to get to her feet and helped WildCat to take Andy to the bedroom above the bar where they sat and kept watch , waiting for him to awaken.
Chimera let out a shrill shout of Joy as he put his foot down going well over the speed limit of the area
"So Draco how about it? are we gonna hit this place or not?"
Draco sighed, he was beginning to wish he had remained human and not teamed up with this lunatic "Remind me why we need to 'hit' this place at all"
Chimera chuckled "Money! why else?" he turned to look at Draco "and you would be better to take your cloak off this time, it just gets in the way"
Draco muttered something under his breath
"Pardon?" said Chimera
"I said , you know I don’t like people seeing what I've become"
"what you'd rather be a weakling Human than what you are now? " Chimera sneered "your kidding aren’t you?"
Draco looked away and stared at the rushing landscape "Enough talk Chimera, We're here"
The car screeched to a halt and Chimera leapt out almost ripping his door off in the process, he made his way to the boot and opened it pulling out a smallish looking rifle, he twisted and pulled at a few sections extending the gun and making it look more like a sniper rifle, then he did the same except twisting it in different ways , now it resembled a shotgun, he smirked, apparently satisfied with the result. Draco exited the car and stood beside Chimera his cloak billowing in the wind occasionally revealing a hint of scale, Chimera looked him up and down and threw a small box at him, Draco caught it effortlessly, it was a small handheld Radio/computer terminal
"Cloak off Draco, I need you to be fast if this doesn’t go the way we planned"
Draco grunted but complied, he shrugged off his cloak; he unhunched himself and stood at least a foot above Chimera and his muscles looked a lot more defined as well.
ok this is the last of it before I got writers block but I'm gonna continue with it starting this weekend so dont expect the next part anytime soon :)
