Hey all,
Whats going on? Well, I finally moved. Yup, now I am a residence of IL. I guess I miss the little things about back home. The Machine Shop, 101.5, 103.9, 94.3, Big Johns and my "normal" family. I just cant get over only like 25% of my people showed up to my wedding. I'm over it, but it's not forgotten. I'm just glad my grandpa and mom got to see me get married. My best friend and friends were there and my wife was there. Besides, we had an awesome time.
I had 3 different jobs fall though, but I have 2 that look pretty positive. So I am hoping. Hell, I might even pick up a part time job at UPS or Fed Ex of Chicago. It's pretty boring here. THere is no one to talk to and my friends are back home. they know they can and are welcomed to come out anytime.
Finally moved out here about a week ago. Nick helped BIG TIME. We drove a Uhaul truck through Chicago's worst snow storm. What takes 5 hrs from Flint to Great Lakes took 8. Yeah! Kristen has her 19th birthday. I got her a dozen red roses, a Nemo cake and she wanted a snake. Its about 4FT long and we choose the name Rocky. ( well, I picked out the name). Ive been watching the movie Collateral that Uncle NIck lent me. I guess he got his lip periced. Id get peircings , but my job market doesnt allow it. We're going bowling this weekend and maybe out to eat. Might even hit Chicago. I dont know. Sure wish something exciting would happen though.
I went into the NEX yesterday ( Navy Exchange) and the clerk asked if I was military. My reply was Ex special forces and the group of E-2's behind stopped talking. Ah well, at least I can stay out past midnight.
Well, I did get a new e-mail address so everyone hit me up for that on AIM or whatever. U2 is coming to the United Center in May. That should be cool. I'm thinking Kristen got me 2rd row tickets to Duran Duran here in March -- not sure. Shes being quiet about it. Oh well.
