Oh that was sweet. To be honest the first 2 parts had me worried but you made it all better with the last part *loves*. The idea of Xan with an eating disorder is uncommon. Perhaps because public perception is that it is a 'girl' thing. You did it remarkably well, kudos to you for pulling off a very serious subject without turning it into an after school special. From the standpoint of a recovering anorexic ( I don't think there is a cure, just like alcoholism, you take it a day at a time) I feel that you not only covered the subject fantastically but perhaps you opened a few peoples eyes to the horror that humans can inflict on themselves. Wonderful job...I will now go back to lurking...cause I sure as hell spammed your LJ today.LOL
The first two parts are a lot more intense but I coulldn't leave it there, I had to make things right in the land of Spander again *grins* Really glad you like it honey, thanks for the wonderful review *hugs*
Thanks I was leaning away from making it too meoldramatic but I wanted to capture as much true feeling as I could in there. I think your right and people do unfortunely think it happens more to girls, which I think is true to a point but ith the world being what it is times are changing. Men are just as insecure as we are, at times.
Congrats on the recoverring hon *hugs* I hope you stay that way, i know how hard it can be. I smoked and was bullemic, nboth of which I now happily nearly two years away from. Unfortuneyely since giving up the smoking I put on weight which did cause me to lapse a little at the start.
Thanks *blushes* I appreciate the feedback and feel free to come out of lurking whenever you like, it was lovely talking to you. *hugs*
