Mm, Yunho has turned a little negative and disheartened, eh. He puts way too much pressure on himself to be perfect and feel perfect. It's really not possible; you can't make yourself feel something. And then as time gets closer for his matches to start again, his anxiety makes him even worse. =(
Hah, yeh, if that kid turns out to be JJ, Yunho might get smacked in the head with 'the grass isn't always greener' hammer. His match anxiety really must be going in the red zone if he's comparing himself to a kid for even a second. ><
According to your theory, yeh, if that ends up being the case it will have some interesting effects on the characters' mindsets. Particularly Yunho's. It's so human to assume everything is perfect for other people but none of us really know what's truly going on behind closed doors. And if they were both jealous of each other, that would be kind of funny--but unfortunate too. Definitely still funny though. =P
I'm sure there are a lot of reasons why Jay didn't care that the other court was all fixed. Quite possibly he did want to fix it himself in his own time, when he was ready. It all got taken out of his control though, and he wasn't letting anyone coerce him into dealing with it before he was ready to. He may have just abandoned/dropped that whole project as consequence when it got taken out of his hands by his rival. Thus, he's still broken while his physical representitive is fixed. It seems sad when you look at it that way, doesn't it? Unless he was always going to procrastinate with it and avoid having to deal with his feelings--in which case, it is necessary for someone else to kick-start the process. Sometimes we don't realise we need help but that shoulder to lean on makes all the difference...
Guuurl, you're making ME tear up with that description of Jay's battles with the sport he loves. It is so depressing when you look at it hard enough. It's not even just a pride thing, it's everything. It's a mockery of everything you've worked hard for when your mind is free but your body is trapping you at a level you surpassed many many years ago... He's only human so I can understand why he pinned part of that frustration on Yunho and everything he represents. =(
And you're right; his reaction suggests he's had to play on a bad leg before and he's conditioned himself to handle it. He pushed himself past his limits though and it's so sad that he did and was so obviously frustrated enough that he was willing to gamble his health over it. T_T
HAHA! Yunho's one arm handstand! I should make that into a sticker or something. Either the Yunho handstand or the Yunho thumbs-up. XD
Jay better be super careful about his serve then. He's being paranoid with it right now but if he ever slips up... It's on. >D
Thanks for your awesome comments! Your in-depth analysis reminds me of the tortures my brain puts me through too when I read things. We're brethren (so to speak). Fist bump! I love it, girl! >D
