This is definitely becoming a hilarious Stephen Colbert VS arch-nemesis Rain situation.

Oh I'm sure you'll be alright. And any lame tennis puns will be explained--even though you'd probably wish they weren't LMAO!

Serrrrrriously, it's like THE NUMBER ONE RULE for me. I understand that some 'art' requires death in order to make a point, yadda yadda. Fine, okay. But sometimes it's just unnecessary, right! Cheap angst. Is that harsh? I just hate it so much ^^;;;. I reckon there are already far too many depressing things going on in real life and so many losses we have to deal with in a lifetime. Why should we have to be hit with sudden character death when we are trying to escape that in real life? T__T

(Funny timing. My favourite Aussie drama just killed off a beloved character and Australia is still in mourning! I HATTEEE ITTTT.)

Actually, a published author I really admire had the best response to a fan who thanked her for not killing off a character. She basically said that she considered most character death laziness on an author's behalf for not coming up with a solution to the mess she placed the characters in. (Of course her setting was a fantasy world, but same diff!!)

Screw realism, I say! We deserve some miraculous conflict resolution and survivals! =P

Okay end rant, sorry. XDD

*nods* yep, real life is depressing enough, we don't need that in our fantasy world, too~ ;_;
I have nothing against angst in fics, I really enjoy angsty-themes, too.. ^^ as long as there'll be a happy end when it's over it's perfect ^^ (and if there's some fluff from time to time ;p)

hehe, no problem~ feel free to rant away, I completely agree~ xD
