There's many types of friends to have in this world, I'd like to believe I'm the one who'll be "always there if you need me". Although personally I'd prefare it to be "The incredibly rich and successful friend who happens to rule the universe..." ?;O)

You know, I just heard the exact phrase "nothing worth having is easy" on an episode of scrubs that I just watched. How spooky is that?

A singular soul mate for everyone is the fairy tale. Most often, you dont' know what you want or need from life until you experiance it with someone. We constantly change, grow, comprimise depending in life. You may meet someone that completes your desires right now, but that's not to say that you won't meet someone who'll help you discover new ones sometime later. That's what life is about, a continuous journey.

As for the fully rewarding, deeply moving, all-encompassing love at the end of the slogging... No. Never. In love, the slogging doesn't end, keeping a person in love with you every single day is the hardest work you'll ever undertake, and that's WHY we do the slogging. The reward is suceeding and after 14 years, waking up next to someone you still love with all your heart.

Your philosphy class was almost right. When you love someone, you will make sacrifices for them, but if it's love, then doing this will make YOU happy too. The security comes from making these choices. You invest in the future of your relationship together. The true key, is recognising the sacrifices that they make for you.

You don't stop thinking because it's your nature to explore, the world, the inner mind. I think it's best that you do think rather then make decisions you didn't think about, don't you?
