Sitting in the lab (that has silver streamers at the window, and a santa-head wreath. that is a bit freaky) looking at nuclei,
J is saying to me how tacky the place looks but hey, its only once a year
Teeny flyers out for the IMM xmas party on the 16th - dress up but BYO beer, wine and food?
I was like, how is that a party?
Mary said, they kick us out at 9, but then we just head to kenny's... in full fancy dress
S comes in and everyone starts bickering about who should break to the prof that the research nurse is pregnant AGAIN;
because he's going to pitch a fit :)
the job is finally foisted off on the nurse coordinator :)
the flurry of activity over, a comfortable silence settles over the lab once again
exams in 2 days
but this little piece of warmth
stays with me all day.
