Me: Bimalleolar fracture of left ankle
Guy I met at freshers week last week at the botany stand: left wrist dislocated, cartilage injury?
Guy I met tonight at capoeira in a wrist band: previous history of left wrist fracture, 2 months ago just damaged it again
His friend: Comminuted? fracture of right humerus

What do we have in common? LONGBOARDING.

Haha.

Although; it isn't really funny.

The sad part is that we all go 'omg, we really miss it.' The guy I met tonight is smart though - he's so fed up at his injury that he's definitely returning his board and selling off his gear. He admitted he felt really sad.
The worst part is that we all cannot tell how it happened. To one guy all it took was a small rock in the otherwise smooth pavement. The other guys were all like, we weren't going fast, it just happened and you can't break your fall properly.

Mehh!!! And no; it will never feel the same again :P

I am alot more cautious nowadays... get quite pessimistic about driving and all. It's just that I don't think I would be able to go through another fracture of any sort again -_-

EDIT: This is why i want to be a doctor! To treat myself/my friends! :D hahaha. No.
