Well... I haven't been on here in a while. Didn't feel the need, really.
But something (or someone rather) happened to me recently, and it's big. Really big.
We met at Blues a couple weeks ago. Totally random.
The first thing I noticed about him was his shoes. I am NEVER attracted to a guy's shoes, but his caught my eye.
My mom and I joked around about grabbing his hips to get him dancing, as he was hypnotized by the incredible guitar player on stage and not moving much on the dance floor.
Shortly after our brief conversation about who should grab his hips and whether or not he would punch us in the face, the band took a break and the dance floor cleared. His friend approached us, asking how our night was going.
Now, I don't think my mom and I are snobby per se, but we definitely did not want to meet anyone that night. We just wanted to go out, the two of us, and dance away our problems...
This guy asked us if we saw where his friend went and I started my "Where's Waldo" search for him. Suddenly he was standing beside me, asking what I was looking for.
"You actually!" I said, and he laughed and responded, "You guys were talking about me while I was gone? Awe, I feel special."
It was then that I looked down and saw his pentagram tattoo...
My mom said as soon as I saw it, we were "gone". The fireworks and sparks between us were undeniable.
The band came back on and started off with a slow song.
He asked me to dance.
I NEVER dance with guys at the bar (aside from my guy friends)... I'm just not into that.
But with him, I just... wanted to be with him. I was drawn to him.
We spent the rest of the evening talking and dancing, ignoring everyone around us.
My mom made sure we exchanged numbers (thanks mom) before we had to run off and meet my step-dad, to go home.
Within a matter of minutes we were texting each other, making plans to hang out the following weekend.
And... here we are.
He is EVRYTHING I've EVER been attracted to in my ENTIRE life.
No one knows for sure what will happen in the future, but I do know he is going to be one of the (if not THE) great love(s) of my life!!!
