me love you long time
Woah it's been over a month!
Within that time I've had a birthday, a haircut, a kickass party, and a lot of other stuff too!
My birthday was simply fabulous. Had to work, actually had a fairly stressful day at work as one of our senators died on the job, but not even something as crazy and unexpected as that could spoil my day! Had a lovely dinner with my family, was cautioned about partying too hard, and went out on the town! Crazy James and John were in town just for me, and Brian and Jillian rounded off our little party quite nicely. Started the night at the U-Bar playing air hockey and such, found our way over to Duffys for more drinking and dancing, and finally finished off the night at the Bear for a little nightcap. Good times with good people =D No hangover either! I have still yet to experience one of those nasty things...
And my hair is now shorter than it's ever been before! Pictures are forthcoming, as I am still as lazy as before, but everyone who came to my party got to see the very first Leah sans hair!! I love it so much; super easy to take care of and looks adorable to boot! I cant believe how fast I can wash my hair now! Cant wait til summertime either...this style is perfect for the hot weather!
And speaking of hot, my party was on fire. Playing hostess is simply TOO much fun and I cant wait to do it again! Everyone who came got hammered, had a great time, and my friends from different circles got along great with eachother! There seemed to be a couple of budding romances as well...guess I'll have to wait and see if anything comes out of it... =D I definately think the Jello Shots were the hit of the night (at least in my mind) and they were terribly fun to drink...or do you eat them? Whatever you do, people were doing it and lovin it! I ended up staying up til almost 5 in the morning, sleeping on the living room floor, and then going out to breakfast / driving people home who crashed on my couch. Woo hoo!
So that seems to be everything majorly exciting that's happened recently...true, school is in session now but that's not really exciting...
Oooh ooh! My John comes up to visit in 2 weeks! This long-distance thing is pretty annoying, but at least it makes seeing him even more special than it would be if he were around all the time =P
